There is a way how to optimize Google Chrome web browser. Also works on both Chrome versions that I tested with tweaked flags (versions 94 and 100).

- H264ify / Enhanced-H264ify - Makes YouTube stream H.264 videos instead of VP8/VP9 videos. This could result in a better playback if on low-end PCs. Also, be sure to disable 60FPS in the options if your system is very low-end
- uBlock Orgin - A more CPU-friendly version of Adblock
- FasterWeb - It will speed up the entire browsing by using just-in-time preloading.
Tips:
- Limit your extensions
- Turn off other processes in the background
- Update Chrome to the latest stable builds (sometimes beta builds can help too, but they are not fully tested)
- If you are using a 64-bit system, be sure to use the 64-bit Chrome, also do the same on a 32-bit system
- Clear your browsing data often. You do not need extensions to clear it for you. CTRL + H then clear everything.
- Sometimes, reinstalling Chrome is a good way to achieve max performance
